Ms Lee Jim Leng was appointed as the Council Chairman of the Malaysian Investment Banking Association (MIBA) on 29 March 2021.
Jim Leng is the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad (HLIB) since 24 November 2009. She has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry, specialising mainly in investment banking.
Prior to joining HLIB, she was the Managing Director of a local investment bank where she was responsible for the overall development of the bank’s investment business in Malaysia. From 1999 to 2007, she was attached to a Singapore-based regional bank and was tasked to spearhead their investment banking division in Malaysia and the ASEAN region.
Jim Leng is a Director of Hong Leong Capital Berhad, a company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. She is also a Council Member of AICB and National Payments Advisory Council, and a Board Member of Asian Banking School Sdn. Bhd.
Jim Leng holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Acadia University, a Master of Business Administration from Dalhousie University, Canada and is a Chartered Banker with the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers.

Tracy also actively engages with other participants in the investment banking industry through her position as Council Member of the Malaysian Investment Banking Association for 2021/2022.
Tracy has more than 30 years’ experience in investment banking and the financial services industry. Before joining the AmBank Group, Tracy served almost two decades at CIMB Investment Bank Berhad where she held several senior roles in coverage and origination of investment banking business including the position of Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Senior Bankers Group.
She is highly regarded as one of the most experienced industry professionals having advised on numerous high-profile and innovative debt and equity transactions. She started her banking career in Ban Hin Lee Bank and Standard Chartered Bank whereby she gained experience in corporate banking and cash management. She then ventured into investment banking when she joined Affin Merchant Bank.

Nor Masliza is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer overseeing the origination, execution and syndication of fixed-income, equity-linked and equity transactions. She has more than 23 years’ experience in the ASEAN debt markets, equity-linked products, derivatives and Islamic finance. Rohaizad’s career started as an Internal Auditor with Malaysian conglomerates, UMW and Renong Group. He later joined Affin Merchant Bank in 1997 where he was involved in many corporate finance exercises and notably the mergers of Malaysian banking institutions through the financial crisis in late 90’s.
He subsequently joined Malaysian International Merchant Bank Berhad where he later headed one of the corporate finance team. Rohaizad moved to Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad as Director of Kenanga Investment Banking Division.
Prior to joining KAF IB in 2009, Rohaizad spent approximately 2 years as CEO of Shoraka Advisers Sdn Bhd, a licensed boutique Corporate Finance Advisory he helped set up. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from Liverpool John Moores University.

Datuk Chay Wai Leong (“Datuk Chay”) was appointed as Group Managing Director of Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad (“KIBB”) on 17 May 2011 and was recently named ‘Executive of the Year – Financial Services’ by the Singapore Business Review.
Currently, he also serves as a Director of the Securities Industry Development Corporation, a company sponsored by the Securities Commission Malaysia and in May 2021, he was appointed as a member of Bursa Malaysia Berhad’s Sustainability and Development Committee.
Since his appointment as the Group Managing Director of KIBB in May 2011, Kenanga Group has clinched numerous awards in the investment banking, equity broking, asset management, futures broking, as well as wealth management business segments. Datuk Chay started his career in 1987 with Bankers Trust in Singapore. He has close to 30 years’ experience in investment banking and financial markets and has worked extensively in many parts of Asia.

Datuk Roslan Hj Tik has over twenty-eight (28) years of experience in the capital market industry spanning from credit rating background to business origination and execution. He had served at Mayban Finance Bhd briefly in 1993 prior to serving Rating Agency Malaysia as an analyst for close to three years before pioneering the analytical team of Malaysian Rating Corporation (‘MARC”) in August 1996. Subsequent to his almost eight (8)-year credit stint, he served KAF Discounts Bhd (now KAF Investment Bank Bhd) as the General Manager of its Capital Market department for close to three (3) years. He subsequently joined RHB Investment Bank Berhad in 2004 establishing its investment banking business and thereafter to Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad in May 2011.
He is currently responsible for all investment banking transaction initiatives for both conventional and Islamic businesses with products ranging from sukuk/bonds (fixed-income securities), equity & corporate finance to corporate banking and private equity.
In his present capacity, he serves as a Director on the Board of K & N Kenanga Holdings Berhad, Kenanga Investment Corporation Ltd, Sri Lanka (KICL) and Rakuten Trade Sdn Bhd. He is also the Chairman of Kenanga Capital Sdn Bhd as well as the Chairman of the Investment Committee of Kenanga Private Equity Sdn Bhd.
A licensed person under the CMSA, Datuk Roslan graduated from the De Montfort University, Leicester, UK with a BSc in Combined Studies (Accounting and Law). He attended INSEAD’s Business School (Singapore Campus) for a short-term programme in March 2007 and 2008; harnessing his leadership skill (Leadership Management Programme). Datuk Roslan also graduated from the MIT Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts, Boston, USA in June 2014 in Advanced Management and Leadership where he is now an alumni member of the school.
He was a facilitator/trainer under the Financial Services Talent Enrichment Programme initiated by Bank Negara Malaysia in 2010. Mr. Kevin Vijendren Davies (“Kevin”) was appointed as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of RHB Investment Bank Berhad (“RHB Investment Bank”) on 1 August 2024. Kevin brings over 25 years of experience in investment banking, having held senior roles at Maybank Investment Bank Berhad (“Maybank IB”), including Head of Investment Banking & Advisory and Managing Director of Client Coverage. Ting Hua Tai, Gary, (“Gary Ting”), a Malaysian, aged 52, is the Head of Corporate Finance in M & A Securities. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Latrobe University, Australia in 1994.
In 1995, he started his career with Coopers & Lybrand (now part of PwC Malaysia) as an Executive in its Corporate Recovery department where he assisted in various corporate recovery and insolvency assignments. He left in 1996 to join Price Waterhouse (now known as PwC Malaysia) as Audit Assistant and was involved in various audit assignments.
He began in career in corporate finance in 1997 when he joined Bumiputra Merchant Bankers Berhad as Executive, Corporate Finance. In 1999, he left to join Amanah Merchant Bankers Berhad (which later merged with Alliance Merchant Bank Berhad) as Senior Executive, Corporate Finance. He left the merchant bank in 2003 as Manager, Corporate Finance to join Avenue Securities Sdn Bhd as Associate Director, Corporate Finance. In 2007, he left ECM Libra Avenue Securities Sdn Bhd (merged entity of Avenue Securities Sdn Bhd and ECM Libra Securities Sdn Bhd) to join MIMB Investment Bank Berhad (now known as Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad) as Director, Corporate Finance (non-board member).
He left MIMB Investment Bank Berhad in 2009 to join M & A Securities in his current capacity. As Head of Corporate Finance, he oversees the department’s day-to-day activities and supervises all corporate finance client mandates from deal origination to execution.
